Split System Air Conditioner Types:-
- Single room split systems.
A single split air conditioner has only one indoor unit connected with the outdoor compressor. Multi split ACs contain several indoor devices linked to the outdoor one. Breakdowns of single split ones will affect air conditioning only in single rooms
- Wall mounted split systems.
Wall–mounted, split system AC units, are the most popular type of air conditioning units for homes and are designed to cool and/or heat either small or large residential areas. The outdoor unit is installed on or near the exterior wall of the room that you wish to cool.
- Multi-head Split systems.
Multi Split Systems can heat or cool multiple rooms using only one outdoor unit connected to multiple indoor units. Each indoor unit can also be individually controlled, scheduled and set to the desired room temperature.
- In-ceiling cassette systems.
Ceiling cassettes are discrete units that hide the bulk of the unit above the ceiling. The grille, which is approximately 1″ thick, is all that shows. So if you’re looking for a less noticeable unit that offers improved coverage, this may be what you’re after.
