Warranty Coverage
- All Rode products (excluding software) come with a standard one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
- Certain Rode products qualify for an extended warranty of up to 2, 5, or 10 years, depending on the product, when registered on the Rode warranty portal.
- Specific models, including the Rode M1 live dynamic microphone, NTH-100 headphones, and Rode Classic II (Limited Edition), may be eligible for a lifetime warranty upon registration.
- The warranty applies only to Rode products purchased from authorized dealers and covers defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship.
Warranty Exclusions
The Rode warranty does not cover:
- User-induced damage, including exposure to excessive heat, moisture, dust, spills, or improper cleaning.
- Wear and tear from normal use or excessive commercial use.
- Use with incompatible or faulty equipment.
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs by unauthorized personnel.
- Consumable parts such as cushions, ear pads, replaceable cables, windshields, and adaptors (covered by a one-year warranty only).
How to Claim Your Rode Warranty
To claim your Rode warranty through Shopping Jin:
- Contact Shopping Jin Customer Support – Reach out to our customer support team with details of the issue.
- Submit Required Information – Provide your proof of purchase and a detailed description of the problem.
- Claim Assessment – Our team will thoroughly review your claim application to determine eligibility under the warranty terms.
- Forwarding to Rode’s Official Service Center – If your claim is valid, we will forward your application to the authorized Rode service center for further processing.
- Repair or Replacement – Based on Rode’s warranty policies, your product will either be repaired or replaced with a new or refurbished unit.
Important Notes
- Customers are responsible for shipping costs when sending products for warranty service.
- Repairs may result in loss of stored data, so we advise backing up important data before submitting your claim.
- If the product is no longer available, Rode may offer a replacement with a similar model.
- The original proof of purchase is required for all claims.
